The Benefits of Technological Innovation

What does it truly mean to be technologically innovative? I believe that it means coming up with better ideas to improve on daily life, and contributing to an increasing demand for certain types of resources that only we as individual human beings can supply.

The various ideas and creations that can come out of technological editions to our community are plenty, and there are several different kinds of inventions that can serve to improve the way we run our communities and the environment as a whole. I intend to find at least a significant amount of problems that our environment and our global community is facing, and perhaps if I dig deep enough, there can be a possible theorized solution for each and every of these problems.
A large part of this topic will focus on Bio-engineering, or a scientific field designed to solve biological problems that have appeared throughout history.


The way we choose to live now is officially antique, not to mention absolutely unnecessary. We as a species have surpassed our previous efforts to contribute something back to the environment we have taken from, so why not take some action and become as innovative as we possibly can? With the technology that we possess today, creating a stable and Eco-friendly alternative is an easy process, but due to close-mindedness, I think that these solutions just aren't getting off the table because of the risk they might bring to the economy. Truly, it is the status of our current economy that we have to worry about for sure, but for the sake of protecting our communities and our ecosystems, I think these simple technological solutions might just do the trick without being overly expensive.



The idea of my 20% project is to show like-minded citizens of the world that it is possible for this kind of technological innovation to exist in our lifetime, and be produced by our own personal efforts. I will be able to do this by researching different kinds of methods that people have used to implement in their daily lives, such as bio-engineering, and new editions to the energy sources that we use today.

Anything is possible with the vast technological improvements that we have come up with even in the past five years, because with our current understanding of technology, we can change a lot of things about the way we look at the energy crisis, pollution, and turning something that previously caused harm to the environment into something constructive and efficient.
